ContractorRegGuide publishes contractor compliance guides based on official state sources. Our first state is Washington, where construction contractors register with L&I and some trades have additional licensing rules.

We are an independent online publisher operated from Beijing, China. Our readers are primarily U.S. contractors, prospective contractors, small construction business owners, and administrators researching registration, bond, insurance, renewal, and trade-license requirements.

Each requirement starts as a data field, not a prose guess. We record the official source URL, source section, last-verified date, review cadence, and maintenance status before a value is used on a public page.

Our editorial rule is simple: explanation can be written in plain English, but facts such as fees, bond amounts, insurance minimums, and renewal periods must come from verified official-source records. If a required value cannot be verified, it should not appear as a specific number on the site.
